Student Success statement

Student Success statement

“Failure is only a postponed success as long as courage coaches ambition. The habit of persistence is the habit of victory.”
Herbert Kaufman

Reflection: I agree with this statement because always doing the right just makes you even more of a better person. You should always be a better person and not only for yourself but for others who are important to you. All it takes is the courage to say that you can be a better person. Even the smallest amount of success can make the biggest impact in your  life and of those around you.

“If it is not right, do not do it; if it is not true, do not say it.”
Marcus Aurelius
Roman emperor from 161 AD to 180 AD
Reflection: I agree with what Marcus Aurelius has quoted. If you know something is wrong then why even doubt doing the right thing. If you know saying something would be negative or not true then you already know what is right and what is wrong. It shouldn't be so difficult for people to do and say the right things and yet people find it better to do something or say something wrong. Doing something always brings negative consequences towards you and even if you think you have escaped them, eventually you will realize that you haven’t after all. Same as when you say something not true, you think you get away with it but you haven’t. It doesn't even matter if what you want to say or do seems only a little wrong because if know there is at least something wrong with it just don’t do it.
